Canada-Pakistan Business Council was registered in Montreal in 1981, as a non-profit organization by several business organizations of Canadian and Pakistani origin, to promote trade between Canada and Pakistan.

CPBC is a well reputed organization recognized by both the Governments of Canada and Pakistan. Over the last 20 years the Council has organized several trade missions, to and from Pakistan, and has many success stories under its belt.

Through the efforts of the Council, many leading Canadian companies such as Teleglobe, New Bridge, etc in their hay days set up their offices in Pakistan and successfully conducted business.
 

Canada-Pakistan Business Council Hosts “MEET & GREET” Reception

CPBC hosted its annual "Meet & Greet" reception at the Toronto Cricket Club on Tuesday, April 24th, 2007. Andy Merchant welcomed the New-Sponsors & Members and informed the attendees of the details and progress made in respect of the last two Missions to Pakistan , organized in September'06 and January'2007.

Dinner For Canadian High Commissioner To Pakistan

Canada-Pakistan Business Council organized a dinner for the visiting Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan, HE David Collins on Feb., 08, 2006 in Toronto. It was attended by leading businessmen, government officials, diplomats and prominent community members.

In his remarks, HE David Collins said that Pakistan offers many investment and business opportunities for Canadian companies and emphasized that bilateral trade between Canada and Pakistan has been constantly growing over the years. He lauded the role of CPBC in organizing very successful trade missions to Pakistan in recent months.

Eid Dinner for Earthquake Relief

The Fundraiser Eid Diner, on November 15th, organized by CPBC at the Bayview Club, was a great success. The ceremonies were kept very simple and solemn in respect of the great earth quake tragedy in Pakistan. Although the event was held in the midweek, the turn out of guests was remarkable and the hall was filled to capacity.
